Why THeology Connect?

"The era of Western Christianity has passed within our lifetimes, and the day of Southern Christianity is dawning."
~Philip Jenkins, The Next Christendom: the Coming of Global Christianity (2002), p. 3.

Our goal

Our mission is to spread the advanced study of Christian Theology to strategic locations around the world.  We put on sustainable conferences that encourage a faithful exploration of Scripture and Christian theology.

"Despite the dramatic growth of the Majority World church, the center of theological education and Christian scholarship remains in the Western world."

Timothy C. Tennent, Theology in the Context of World Christianity: How the Global Church Is Influencing the Way We Think about and Discuss Theology (2009), p. 11.

What we believe

We believe in the essentials of the Christian faith, as described below:

The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture as originally given and its supreme authority

in all matters of faith and life.

The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the triune Godhead.

The universal sinfulness and guilt of humanity since the fall, rendering men and women subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

The conception of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit and his birth by the virgin Mary.

Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death, as our representative and substitute, of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.

The physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective in the individual, granting him or her repentance towards God, and faith in Christ.

The indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in the believer.

The expectation of the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
